About Jennifer

After experiencing a lower back injury in her mid twenties and being told by doctors that there was nothing to be done about her injuries, Jennifer found the catalyst for beginning her career as a massage therapist. Jennifer graduated from the Darcy Lane Institute of massage therapy in May 2006. Her training consisted of 2 years of intensive study of anatomy, pathology, physiology, clinical practice, orthopedic assessment and massage techniques such as trigger point therapy, fascial release, hydrotherapy and sports injury massage. Areas of interest include myofascial release, injuries/accidents, headaches, prenatal massage and postural concerns. Her focus is to help patients through assessment and treatment, along with preventative and rehabilitative goals.

She has experience in a broad range of pathologies, including rotator cuff problems, sciatic nerve issues, neck pain, hip imbalances, headaches, stress-related issues and pregnancy massage.  The main focus of her practice is on rehabilitative massage therapy but she also has experience in therapeutic exercise, sports injury massage and relaxation massage. Jennifer is also trained in Ultrasound and Hot Stone Massage.
